Fun In the Fall

Today we went outside to rake the leaves. As you can see Carmine and Braxton were good helpers........

.....Until they figured out how much FUN it was to jump and play in the leaves.

They would get a hand full and throw them in the air.

They were having so much fun the neighbor kids saw and wanted to play with them. They all jumped and swam in the leaves for almost 2 hours.

Pumpkin Patch Day

Braxton and Carmine are here waiting to go and get pumpkins. They were so excited!

They couldn't leave the house without their backpacks on. Their Grandma Sutera got them those for Easter, and they just NOW love wearing them.

Aren't they so cute!

Here we are at the Pumpkin Patch and Carmine was so excited to pull the wagon.

Braxton found his pumpkin first and put it in the wagon.

Carmine was next to find his pumpkin. He is so strong!

They were both fighting over who gets to pull the wagon so I told Carmine to push while Braxton pulls. It seemed to work, what a great team!

They loved finding their pumpkins they wanted to get more.

They both loved the patch, I think they could have stayed there for hours.

Carmine sat himself down and started to play the pumpkins like they were drums. It was so cute, I guess we know what he wants for Christmas.

Carmine insisted on pulling the 50 pound wagon. It didn't last long, he was running into everything.

Painting Our Pumpkins

So we decided to paint our pumpkins this weekend and then next weekend we can carve them. You know get more for your money! Actually I was nervous to carve them 2 weeks before Halloween because you never know what the weather will be like. Last week it was 80 degrees and now it is pushing 60. I don't want our pumpkins to go bad.

The boys had a lot of fun painting them.

The Finished Product

Well there you have it, the Sutera's haunted house!

Carmines and Braxtons beautiful painted pumpkins.
I will take lots of pictures from Halloween night for the next time I blog so stay tuned........

All the leaves are falling

The weather has been so nice here that we have been playing in our front yard latley.

The boys love it because they can play in the leaves.

The National Zoo

We took the boys to the Zoo one Sunday and they were able to pet some goats.

Here they are working to earn some extra cash on the farm!

Here we are getting our yard ready for Halloween. The boys were helping Dad hang up ghosts.

Golfing and Cleaning

Carmine practicing hard to become a pro.

Look at that follow through!

Braxton was helping me clean one day.

He and Carmine always fight over who gets to vacuum.
