More Aquarium

They had about 3 sharks in this tank. It was so cool to see them up close.

Carmine, Braxton and Jade.

Look how BIG that fish is. Can you believe Carmine isn't even scared of it!

The dolphin show

To end the tour we went to the dolphin show. I liked it the best, I think the kids did as well.

I could seriously watch the dolphins all day if I could.

They are so cute!

Ever since we saw the dolphins Carmine and Braxton like to pretend they are dolphins. They say "hey Mommy watch", and they will jump high in the air and say, "I'm a dolphin".

Ahoy!

After the aquarium we walked around the harbor and saw this ship wheel. The boys wanted to try it and were saying "arrr I'm a pirate".

The Baltimore Harbor

If you can see the people in the back, they were dressed up like pirates (I think it was for one of the ships you can tour) The boys thought it was cool to see real pirates. Braxton goes "ARrr" really loud when he saw them, it was so funny.

Hey good lookin!

Carmine and Braxton modeling. Isn't Braxton a pretty girl? (poor Brax)

Nick and Jade

They were having a sand castle contest. It was cool to watch them do it. I could never have the patience to do that.

I have no idea what they are supposed to be.

All in all it was a fun trip and I am glad we were finally able to make it up there.

Brotherly Love

One day I put a sheet over our kitchen table for the boys to pretend they were camping. They had fun for the first 10 min. and then they were bored with it. At least I tried!

One day they boys were in my room and I turned around to see this. Why boys want to put their dirty underwear on their heads is beyond me!

SICK! I don't know about boys!

Just another picture of us eating a bagel at Panera. They love their bagels. (I do too!)

Great Falls Park

Today we decided to go to Great Falls Park. We have never been there before and heard that it is beautiful. The pictures don't give it justice, it's pretty cool to see.

The water was rushing so fast. There was a sign that said 7 people a year drown in the waters. Scary!

Daddy and Carmine. Don't worry he is holding on tight!

Daddy and his boys.

Rock playground

There were 3 different places you could overlook the falls. We were on our way to a different overlook and the boys were loving the climb. Even though they don't look like it in this picture. They just didn't like that we made them hold our hands. They wanted to climb by themselves.

We found a rock slide and the boys loved it.

They had to take turns going down it several times.

More family pics.

Mommy and boys.

I thought this would be a cool place to have a family picture.

At the end the boys were hungry (are you surprised?) We had a fun time there, and maybe when their older we can take them on a hike next time.

The BEST cookies ever!

I made these cookies when are friends were here and they loved them. Someone told me to put the recipe on my blog so they can make them. So here you go:
In bowl mix:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ts. baking soda
  • 1/2 ts. baking powder
  • 1 ts. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut

Mix together

In separate bowl mix:
  • 2 sticks softened butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ts. vanilla extract

Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. After it's mixed all together at in 6 oz. of chocolate chips and 3/4 cup of nuts if desired.

Bake on 350 degrees on greased baking sheet for 11-13 min.

(Makes 5 dozen)

This is the finished product. I have to say that I have looked for the perfect chocolate chip recipe for so long and when I found this one, the whole family and everyone who has ever tried them love them.
GOOD LUCK BAKING!

MMMM, Delicious

Anthony's friends came into town last week and Nate and Keira wanted to go to the Zoo. I bought all of us suckers and the Boys loved them! (and Keira too)

Nate and Keira with their yummy suckers!

Lions Oh, My!

The boy's loved this Lion, they were making lion sounds.

Me and my boys! Carmine is so funny he totally put his arm around me and Braxton all by himself. He loves to take pictures.

A day at the Zoo

Here is Nate practicing for when he has his own kids

At the Zoo they have ropes for the monkeys to cross to go to different sides of the park. I guess they wont jump because they are too smart. It's cool to watch.

Braxton had so much fun, he totally passed out!

Dinner with friends

As I mentioned above 6 of our friends came to visit and we all went out to dinner. This is Carmine with Matt and Gian.

Keira, Nate, Bridget and Maki.
