Part 2

Just sitting on some tracks.

It was so pretty to see the mountains. I forget how beautiful they are because I am not around any. I know these ones don't even compare to the Utah mountains.

This church was so high up on a hill, it was so cool. I wanted to go through it but the boys were too tired. Maybe next time.

Braxton

Braxton is at that age where he wants to take care of himself. It is really a love hate relationship for me. I love that he is wanting to be more independent, but I hate the mess that he makes. I just need to get over it.

He insist on make himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich everyday for lunch. He LOVES them!

Braxton has figured out all by himself that a spoon will stick to your nose.

Ta Da!

Places we've been

Here are just a couple of random pictures. This was the boys first time at the dentist. They don't allow pictures to be taken there but I managed to get this one. They were so good! They got their teeth cleaned and checked and not even a whine! They were awesome! Oh ya and NO cavities.

We went bowling with some friends. They ball went so slow down the lane they just sat down and waited for the ball to hit the pins. It was so funny.

Here we are with the mascot at Red Robbins. Carmine was a little hesitant around him. This makes me wonder what he will be like at Disneyland around all the characters?

Dead and Alive

I was driving to the Zoo one day and my GPS took me a different way then I usually go. It took us through DC and I was passing the Natural History Museum. I asked the boys if they wanted to see dinosaurs, of course they said YES!

Carmine inside a sharks jaws.

Then on to the Zoo.

These are the only pictures I took. So we saw extinct animals and alive ones all in one day.

The USS Constellation Ship

The USS Constellation 1797 -1853

www.historicships.org/constellation.html

We took the boys to the Baltimore Harbor last weekend and we took a tour of a "Pirate Ship" or at least that's what the boys thought.

This thing was amazing

Cannon's

The boys by the cannon.

2nd deck

This is the second deck where they had all the cannons at.

It is crazy to think of them in war and having to load and shoot the cannons.

2nd deck cont.

This was where all the captains slept and ate.

I think this was a pantry.

Look how big that rope is.

2nd deck cont.

The people back then must have been very short. Anthony's only 5'8 and he had to duck the whole time we were under the top deck.

This was one of the captain's rooms. It looks like he slept in a crib!

This was their toilet and bathtub.

The stairs were so steep. I bet a lot of people fell down those stairs.

3rd. deck

This was where all the soldiers slept.

Doesn't that look comfy!

This was the medicine room where they treated any wounds.

Lower deck

This was where they had the wounded. This was their bed. I can't even imagine what it was like to be there during that time.

This was the very bottom deck. All those wood things were to balance the ship.

This place was just a bunch of rooms. It was so small in there that the doors were like a little play house.

You can see how small it was in there!

Submarine

The USS Tork SS-423 Compartmentation.

This was a submarine that we took a tour through. I could never do this job, it was so claustrophobic in there.

A bathroom.

Part 2

This is where they all slept.

See how narrow it is in there, that's how it is through almost the whole submarine.
